Dhanasampada Mahila Urban Co-op Credit Society Ltd., Nanded

Founded to empower women and promote financial inclusion, the society is committed to cooperative values, sustainable development, and transparency in financial services.

Dhanasampada Mahila Urban Co-op Credit Society Ltd. was established on September 4, 2017. Before this, social and cultural activities were carried out under the name “Vanshree”. To include the cooperative spirit in their mission, “Vanshree” led to the formation of this credit society.

Dhanasampada Mahila Urban Co-op Credit Society Ltd. is officially registered under the Maharashtra State Co-operative Societies Act. This registration ensures that the institution operates within the legal framework laid out for cooperative societies, maintaining transparency, accountability, and trust. Registration Number: NND/(RSR)/(O)/2017-18

Dhanasampada Mahila Urban Co-op Credit Society Ltd. is affiliated with “Banco” and “The Maharashtra State Federation”, which are prestigious institutions in the cooperative sector of Maharashtra.

Dhanasampada Mahila Urban Co-op Credit Society Ltd. operates in the state of Maharashtra, with active services in two major districts — Nanded and Hingoli.

At present, the bank has a network of 12 active branches, delivering financial services across both rural and urban areas.

Branch Locations include:
Nanded, Bhokar, Tamsa, Hadgaon, Himayatnagar, Mudkhed, Umri, Akhada Balapur, Ardhapur, Vasmat, Sarafa Nanded (CIDCO) along with Head Office.

At Dhanasampada Mahila Urban Bank, our mission goes beyond traditional banking. We are committed to creating a platform that empowers women financially and socially. While the bank was formally established in 2017, its foundation was laid much earlier through our grassroots efforts with the Vanashri NGO. During this journey, we identified a critical gap — many capable and enterprising women lacked access to secure, inclusive, and women-friendly banking services. This insight became the cornerstone of our vision. Our objective is to provide accessible, transparent, and empowering financial services, with a special focus on women striving for financial independence and security. Dhanasampada is a bank by women, for women — yet we remain dedicated to serving all sections of society with empathy and integrity. Looking ahead, we are focused on integrating modern technology, broadening our outreach, and continuing our mission of fostering financial inclusion and empowerment for all.

As Secretary, my role is to ensure the smooth and transparent functioning of the bank while upholding the highest standards of integrity, service ethics, and accountability. Our journey with Vanashri brought us face-to-face with the financial challenges many women face — from lack of access to capital and financial literacy, to the absence of safe, supportive financial institutions. Dhanasampada Mahila Urban Bank was founded to address these very needs. We are committed to creating a trusted, respectful environment where women can confidently take charge of their finances. More than just a bank, Dhanasampada stands as a pillar of support — especially for those seeking opportunities to rise, grow, and succeed. In the years to come, we will continue to adopt technology-driven solutions, launch women-centric initiatives, and expand our services — all with the goal of promoting financial independence and resilience among women.
